I sent my thesis survey<\/strong> to 129 companies in Europe. The response rate is a staggering 7,75%. Not quite what I expected. But I’m so grateful for those who answered \ud83d\ude07<\/p>\n

Where did I go wrong? Was the survey so bad? Questions and thoughts are running through my head. I failed and it’s not easy to swallow. I wanna scream and shout, let it all out \ud83d\ude01 But if I fail I want to do it well and with style \ud83d\ude05<\/p>\n

Time to reflect<\/strong> and learn<\/strong>. The survey is quite long because my topic is broad. So it’s probably one reason people didn’t answer that. Remote working is so an interesting area that I wanted to research it profoundly.<\/p>\n

So towards the new disappointments, I’ll go \ud83d\ude00 Back to the drawing board and figure out what to do next.<\/p>\n

This failure theme inspired me to read more about failure. There are great examples of companies that celebrate failures<\/strong> or see those with an open mind knowing those are possibilities for development<\/strong>. If you don’t innovate, try, or be creative, you don’t probably succeed as well as you could. So there are always good chances to fail, so do it \ud83d\ude04<\/p>\n

A great explanation of “failure” comes from Thomas Alva Edison<\/strong>: “I didn\u2019t fail 1,000 times. The light bulb was an invention with 1,000 steps<\/em>.”<\/p>\n
